Renson and Nanopixel open the first fully virtual showroom in Belgium

Nanopixel, Belgian market leader in the field of high-end 3D visuals and a pioneer in the field of virtual reality and digital customer experiences, today officially presents the first virtual showroom. This was developed for Renson, a worldwide trendsetter in ventilation, sun protection and terrace coverings. The result is an “Experience Box” where customers can discover, experience, choose and configure all Renson products in a real time environment. A world first.

With a portfolio of more than 700 products, Renson now has many thousands of square meters of showrooms. It is not possible for the Renson dealers, who are located all over the world, to get this huge product range in their showrooms. Moreover, it was felt that customers often had difficulty to imagine the products and their operation in their own home situation. That is why the Renson Experience Box was developed in collaboration with Nanopixel: the first virtual showroom of the country and a world first.

The Experience Box is a virtual experience space measuring 3 by 2.5 meters in which customers can discover all outdoor and sun protection products from the Renson range in 3D. Thanks to countless configuration possibilities, they get a first look at the possible end result in real time, where they can then also walk around virtually. Distributors no longer have to display all demo models thanks to the Experience Box. Moreover, the digital product range is always up-to-date thanks to the regular software updates that are carried out automatically.

“Renson not only wants to be innovative in the development of new products, but also wants to be a trendsetter in the way in which we propose this product range to end customers”, says Pieter Lecluyse, marketing manager at Renson, the importance of the Experience Box. “Through the real-time rendering software we simulate the integration of our products according to the wishes of the customer. This is unique in our sector, but extremely important to us because we also want to present the high-end products that we develop in an equal way. With our Renson Experience box, every Renson ‘Ambassador’ can also have the largest Renson showroom in the country “.

Dietrich De Blander, CEO of Nanopixel says: “Thanks to the large screen, the experience is very intense. During the design phase, there was a lot of attention for the influences of both natural sunlight and artificial light. We have succeeded in creating an atmospheric environment that brings the Renson products to life. The Experience Box is also designed to be compact and easy to set up and dismantle. As a result, it can also be used problem-free at trade fairs or other events. “

From four predefined models of houses, the customer chooses the style that best matches the owner-occupied home. For those who want to go into more detail, there is a façade configurator where the dimensions are meticulously set.

All solutions of the Renson Experience Box focus on the comfort of the customer. In contrast to the traditional sales pitch, which many people dislike, the conversation in the Renson Experience Box is a valuable accompaniment in the complete selection process. The target? Together to come up with a tailor-made solution. After the customer has explored and compared all products, configured to their own taste, they also know exactly what the impact is on the incidence of light into the living room. The end result is exactly what the customer wants.
